Use of Narcan
According to NIDA’s website, “Naloxone is a medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. It is an opioid antagonist. This means that it attaches to opioid receptors and reverses and blocks the effects of other opioids. Naloxone can quickly restore normal breathing to a person if their breathing has slowed or stopped because of an opioid overdose.”

Intervention for Nicotine Dependence, Education, Prevention, Tobacco and Health (INDEPTH) Training for Students
This alternative to suspension program educates students about nicotine dependence and cravings and ultimately guides them through the process of identifying their own reasons for chewing, smoking or vaping tobacco products. It helps them identify why they use nicotine in the first place.
