Welcome to School District of Lodi

“Bright Futures Start Here”

Welcome to the School District of Lodi where the staff, administration, and Board of Education are committed to working in partnership with our families and community to create a positive learning environment for all of our students.  This commitment is reflected in the Districts mission which states “In partnership with our community, nurturing every student’s potential for growth and opportunities - socially, mentally & academically - in a safe, respectful, and an inclusive environment to create innovative problem solvers.”  It is this commitment that fuels innovation that our district has become known for. Whether it is creating a sense of belonging for all students, our science-technology-engineering-art-math  (STEAM) labs in every building, our project based learning charter school, our high school based Discovery Center and Fabrication Lab, our multiple Advanced Placement offerings, or our wide ranging fine arts opportunities, we continue to strive to meet the needs of all of our students each and every day.

For those of you new to the area, the School District of Lodi covers 92 square miles in Columbia and Dane County which includes Gibraltar Rock State Natural Area, the Ice Age Trail, Lake Wisconsin and is within easy commuting distance of Madison, Wisconsin Dells, and Portage.  The District has an enrollment of approximately 1500 students across four school buildings.  We are committed to providing a variety of academic support programs, including flexible schedules, extended learning classes and more to our students throughout the district.  Lodi’s ACT scores are well above the state average and the District consistently receives an “Exceeds Expectations” on the State Report Card.  The School District of Lodi offers numerous Advanced Placement classes and has been recognized statewide and nationally for increasing student access to rigorous coursework and excellent AP exam results.

In addition the dedicated staff in our district encourage our students to play as hard as they work.  We offer a host of teams, clubs, and other activities that broaden interests and brighten horizons, including successful boys and girls athletics, multiple instrumental bands, choirs, a yearly musical and play, Mock Trial, Forensics, FFA, and an international studies program to name a few.  We have active sister school exchanges with Thailand, German, and Costa Rica.  In addition, Lodi High School is the only school in the state of Wisconsin that has a class taught through distance education by a teacher in a different country, as a teacher in Thailand teaches our Cultural Geography of Southeast Asia class.

Regardless of interest, students who attend the School District of Lodi not only understand that they are members of a global community, but have the skills necessary to be successful wherever their dreams may lie.  Our district takes great pride in developing well rounded students who represent our district and our community with Lodi Pride in all facets of their academic and co-curricular participation and we are truly committed to the belief that “Bright Futures Start Here!”
